SHARK 6 Dynamic Cab Chassis
The hard-working SHARK. BYD's tough DMO Super Hybrid drivetrain with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine good for 321kW/650Nm and 2,500kg towing. The Cab Chassis body let's you kit out your SHARK 6 to suit your lifestyle, whether it's work or play.

The SHARK 6 you know and love. The same 321kW/650Nm DMO Super Hybrid with 1.5 turbo drivetrain with plush, high-tech cabin appointments.
SHARK 6 Performance Pickup
The new boss in town. The SHARK 6 Performance brings with it an all-new DMO Super Hybrid drivetrain with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine for combined outputs of 350kW/700Nm. This helps the new halo SHARK from 0-100km/h in just 5.5 seconds and maximum towing of 3,500kg.

Hybrid grunt
BYD SHARK 6 gives you the choice of 1.5‑litre or 2.0‑litre turbocharged high‑power hybrid engines. In conjunction with the BYD Blade battery, they boast a massive 321kW/650Nm (Dynamic and Premium) or 350kW/700Nm (Performance). This allows the BYD SHARK 6 to achieve a maximum braked towing capacity of 2,500kg for the 1.5‑litre or 3,500kg in the 2.0‑litre.
Off-road wonder
BYD SHARK 6 offers a double wishbone front and rear suspension with Mud, Sand and Snow terrain modes. Also included are advanced features like Hill Hold Control, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Descent Control and Auto‑Hold, making light work of any off‑road tasks.

Advanced hybrid system
The DMO plug‑in hybrid architecure in the BYD SHARK 6 is built from the ground up to maximise comfort and efficiency. Delivering a combined driving range of 800km (Dynamic and Premium models on the NEDC cycle) per tank while providing the performance capabilities to reach 100km/h in as little as 5.7s (Dynamic and Premium).

Gravel
Intelligent traction and braking force distribution enhances the maximum climbing gradient, allowing SHARK 6 to conquer slopes of up to 30° on gravel surfaces. Hill Descent Control allows for a minimum downhill speed control of as low as 2km/h. The maximum torque output delivers a peak traction force of up to 17,500N. The electronic limited‑slip differential responds in under 700ms, enabling the vehicle to tackle cross‑axle depths of up to 250mm.
Mud
On uniform hard mud terrain, the maximum acceleration can reach up to 3m/s. On uniform hard mud terrain, SHARK 6 is capable of performing controlled circular drifts. It can successfully escape from mud pits with a maximum depth of 160mm.
Sand
SHARK 6 can tackle desert slopes steeper than 20°, with a maximum dune climbing distance of 130m. It can perform hill climb U‑turns with a minimum turning radius of 3m on sandy terrain. SHARK 6 can achieve braking from 70km/h with an average deceleration of 3m/s.
